The Scientific Institute, IRCCS Eugenio Medea, is the scientific section of the Association “La Nostra Famigliaa no-profit organization dedicated to promote and safeguard health care, education and services for young people with special needs, through a network of 28 Rehabilitation Centers located in Italy, China, Equador, Brasil and South Sudan. Since 1985, the hospital has been an Institute for Research, Hospitalization and Health Care (Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico – IRCCS), devoted to neurorehabilitation of child and adolescent motor, psychological  and cognitive disabilities.
